Playing Limit Well…and a Little Satellite Win

I have been playing limit holdem exclusively and my win rate, well, you would not believe my BB/Hr if I told you, so I won’t. Last time I told somebody on PocketFives.com or Two plus Two or wherever it was, well, they flamed me pretty good. All I can say is Preflop50 works! I also won’t tell you where I play Limit Holdem, because I don’t want you showing up there armed with the Preflop50 system and rocking my boat.

Since Preflop50 is only for limit cash games, I don’t mind telling you that I sometimes go to Full Tilt for NL tournament play. I played a little $4 satellite on Full Tilt tonight, eighty players. Top two win a seat at the $50k guarantee next Saturday evening (seat is worth $109). I won! That’s me…RogerKDodger, my screen name on Full Tilt. It would be nice to turn $4 into $12,500. We will see. Check back and I will let you know how I fare.

Vegas Poker Room Reviews

The Poker Homey made a working trip to Las Vegas a while back, and I was able to play at several of the casino poker rooms, winning a Saturday evening tournament at the Sahara (click here for my review of the Sahara). It is nice to leave Vegas with alot more money than you arrived with! The website All Vegas Poker was a great help in the preparation for this trip to Las Vegas, and is an excellent resource on the Vegas poker rooms. Despite the win at the Sahara, this was not my favorite room. When you get to Vegas, I recommend you check out the Aladdin, Wynn, and MGM Grand poker rooms if you don’t get to go anywhere else. The tourney action three times a day at the Sahara is great though.
