The Poker Homey made a working trip to Las Vegas a while back, and I was able to play at several of the casino poker rooms, winning a Saturday evening tournament at the Sahara (click here for my review of the Sahara). It is nice to leave Vegas with alot more money than you arrived with! The website All Vegas Poker was a great help in the preparation for this trip to Las Vegas, and is an excellent resource on the Vegas poker rooms. Despite the win at the Sahara, this was not my favorite room. When you get to Vegas, I recommend you check out the Aladdin, Wynn, and MGM Grand poker rooms if you don’t get to go anywhere else. The tourney action three times a day at the Sahara is great though.
